Rajinikanth arrives in Mumbai to watch India vs New Zealand match
Rajinikanth and his wife, Latha, were seen at the Mumbai airport on November 14.
The couple will watch the India vs New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Rajinikanth was one of the chief guests who received the prestigious Golden Ticket handed out by the BCCI (The Board of Control for Cricket in India).
India will take on New Zealand in the ongoing World Cup 2023 semi-final today, November 15.
Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar were the celebrities who received the Golden Ticket from the BCCI. It was expected that the trio will watch the India vs Pakistan in Ahmedabad.
Rajinikanth was last seen in director Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, which raked in over Rs 650 crore worldwide.
The actor is presently shooting for director TJ Gnanavel’s upcoming film. Tentatively titled Thalaivar 170, the film features Fahadh Faasil, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh.
