Superstar Rajinikanth has reportedly refused politely the protection being given to him in Lucknow by the Uttar Pradesh police.
Rajini was shooting in Lucknow for his upcoming film Petta directed by Karthi Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures. Ever since he reached Lucknow, the UP police have been providing security to him.
However, sources claim Rajinikanth has returned police security for shoot, saying that he is just like a common-man.
“He does not want anyone to suffer because of him. He told the police officers that public have to face a lot of trouble due to government protection,” they added.
The movie has an impressive star cast that includes Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran and Trisha.
The suspense on the title of the movie was recently revealed through a motion poster showing Rajini in a ultra-mass look.
Adding more to the first look was the terrific background score by Anirudh Ravichander, which gave goosebumps to Rajini fans.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran-promoted Sun Pictures, the title of the movie roughly translates to stronghold. Rajini sports a beard and coolers, walking with a weapon while flashing his trademark smile.
Rajinikanth’s last film, released in June this year, was the trilingual Kaala, which had received mixed reviews. But this one is expected to be a sure shot entertainer.
