In a sudden trip, Superstar Rajinikanth has left for the United States by a flight from Chennai on Wednesday night.
While some said that he has left for the US for health check-up and treatment, others said his visit is for works related to his upcoming film 2.0, directed by Shankar.
According to sources, the ‘thalaivar’ will be there for 10 days. Only during the release of Kabali, Rajini came to Chennai from US after getting treatment for two months there.
One may recall that Rajini reportedly underwent treatment for certain kidney related ailments in the US last June.
Last time, his elder daughter, Aishwaryaa R Dhanush, accompanied him to the country. This time around, an insider says that a family aide has escorted him.
During his earlier stay, Rajini visited Satchidananda Ashram, also known as Yogaville, in Virginia.
“Appa and I at his guru Satchidananda’s Lotus all faiths temple” 30th anniversary Yogaville Virginia,” Aishwarya wrote on her Twitter page.
