Rajini, Kamal wow fans with super updates

While the motion poster of superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar was released by Kamal Haasan on Thursday evening, director Shankar surprised Kamal fans on the actor’s birthday by unveiling a working still from Indian 2.

Salman Khan revealed the Hindi motion poster, Mohanlal did the same in Malayalam, Kamal Haasan unveiled the poster in Tamil and Mahesh Babu in Telugu. In the motion poster, we see Rajinikanth as a stylish cop who is in the middle of a fight.

He looks majestic while seated on a rolling chair. Sources close to the team revealed that this rolling chair fight sequence would one of the highlights of Darbar. Releasing the poster, Kamal tweeted: “நண்பர் @rajinikanth அவர்களின் #DarbarMotionPoster  https://youtu.be/FQX9jN_vpvs  #DARBAR  @anirudhofficial @LycaProductions.”

Mahesh Babu tweeted: “Extremely happy to present the Telugu motion poster of @rajinikanth sir’s #Darbar. Love & respect always! 🙏 Best wishes to @ARMurugadoss sir & the entire team👍👍 #DarbarMotionPoster.”

Darbar boasts a stellar cast including Rajinikanth, Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas and Yogi Babu in prominent roles. The technical crew of Darbar comprises of composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Santosh Sivan and editor Sreekar Prasad.

Meanwhile, Shankar wished Kamal Haasan on 65th birthday, with a picture of Kamal dressed as Indian thatha from Indian 2. “Happy birthday sir,” the director tweeted with the picture, where Kamal dressed in a khaki attire, has his back to the camera.
