Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the first schedule of Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss in Mumbai. The film is being produced by Lyca on a lavish budget.
The actor has returned back to Chennai and he is expected to resume the shoot in Mumbai by the end of this month. “The next schedule will start on May 29,” sources say.
Sources say that Murugadoss is planning to shoot the film only in Mumbai so almost all the scenes will be shot in the city.
Said to be a cop story, which will see Rajinikanth in the role of a cop after a long break, the film’s shoot schedule is going on as per schedule.
Nayanthara plays Rajinikanth’s pair in the film which also has Yogi Babu, Prateik Babbar, Anandaraj, Bose Venkat, and Harish Uttaman in pivotal roles.
With music by Anirudh Ravichander and Santosh Sivan as the cinematographer, the film is slated to release for Pongal, 2020.
