Rahman’s special song for Kerala

With the neighbouring State Kerala getting severely affected by floods, Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman has come out with a special song.

Rahman, who is busy with his musical concert in Los Angeles, sang his popular song ‘Mustafa Mustafa’ from Kadhal Desam but while ending the song, Rahman tweaked the lines for the people of Kerala.

He sang: “Kerala… Kerala…Don’t worry Kerala. Kalam Nam Thozhan Kerala .” The song has become viral on social networking sites.

It is to be noted that a lot of Tamil film celebrities, including superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi and Vikram, have been donating for relief works in Kerala.

Recently, Nadodigal and Engeyum Eppodhum fame actress Ananya released a video in which she shared her experiences during the floods that have hit Kerala for the past fortnight.

She said that her house is under water. Further, Ananya added that she was currently staying in Asha Sharath’s house in Perumbavoor, Kerala.

“We became safe only around 11 am on Friday. The houses of all our relatives’ house are also under water.” Ananya added that everyone needs to help people who are going through worse encounters.

She also thanked everyone who came forward to help her and her family. Kerala has been by massive floods, one of the worst calamities in the State ever which has taken many lives.
