Rahman seeks help of fans

Oscar-Grammy winning music composer A R Rahman has sought the help of sans to rearrange his chartbuster Take It Easy Urvasi for an upcoming performance.

“Dear friends, I’m trying to rearrange ‘Take it Easy Urvasi’ for a performance and wish to update the Charanams. Feel free to contribute..”, he said in his social media page.

The musician added: “Ofcourse please do leave out and avoid any reference to Hilary Clinton, Donald Trump or the currency situation for now and try to come up with something interesting & humorous in the same scaling of the original Tamil version..”

Take it Easy Urvasi featured in Shankar’s Kadhalan, which had Prabhu Deva, Nagma and S P Balasubrahmanyam in lead roles.

The film received positive reviews from critics and enjoyed huge commercial success upon release in September 1994.

It won many recognitions and honours, including the Filmfare Best Film Award and Filmfare Best Actress for Nagma, while also receiving four National Film Awards.
