Prithviraj Sukumaran praises Ranveer Singh’s performance, but not for Dhurandhar
Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran believes Ranveer Singh delivered one of his finest performances in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani rather than in the Dhurandhar franchise.
During an interview with Galatta Plus, Prithviraj said Ranveer’s portrayal of Rocky required exceptional skill and praised the actor’s ability to balance humour, emotion and characterisation. He added that he had shared the same opinion with filmmaker Karan Johar.
Many viewers have similarly appreciated Ranveer’s comic timing, distinctive dialogue delivery and energetic screen presence in the film, which starred Alia Bhatt alongside him. The movie performed well commercially, including in overseas markets.
