Pranitha visits Atal Tunnel, feels happy

Pranitha Subhash has visited the Atal Tunnel which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.

Uploading pictures of her at the tunnel, she said, “Happened to travel through the historical #AtalTunnel today right after it’s inauguration by our PM two days ago. Saved us a good few hours of travel!”

The actress, during the lockdown, won hearts of many for feeding poor and needy. Her parents are doctors and in a chat with us earlier, she had mentioned that she understood the gravity of the pandemic as her parents were doctors and she wanted to do something on humanitarian grounds.

Recently, Pranitha Subhash couldn’t stop herself to appreciate the cracker of a game between RCB and MI. She took to Twitter to congratulate RCB by admiring Kohli and De Villiers. Pranitha even mentioned that Ishan won many hearts by his magnificent batting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the all-weather Atal Tunnel, which reduces the distance between Manali and Leh by 46 km and the travel time by four to five hours, at Rohtang in Himachal Pradesh.

Atal Tunnel, built by the Border Roads Organisation, is the longest highway tunnel in the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Modi said, “Atal tunnel will give new strength to India’s border infrastructure. It is an example of world-class border connectivity. There have been demands to improve border infrastructure but for a long time, such projects either couldn’t get out of planning stage or got stuck midway.”
