Pon Radhakrishnan wants strict action against ganja candy gang: Senior BJP leader and union minister of state for road transport, highways and shipping, Pon Radhakrishnan on Monday, said stringent action should be taken against those involved in the selling of chocolates laced with sedatives (ganja) in Chennai.
Talking to journalists in Chennai airport, he said, “it is unacceptable that ganja candies are being sold to school children. This can not be taken as an ordinary thing. They should be arrested under non-bailable sections.”
Recently, he had alleged that there is no safety for women in Tamil Nadu. Radhakrishnan referred to the murder of the techie Swathi in Nungambakkam and said,
