Pon Radhakrishnan slams TN Minister, dares him to chop off his tongue

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan today urged State Ministers to speak responsibly and uphold the dignity of their post.

Speaking to reporters at Chennai airport, he said, “Even I criticise the AIADMK government. Will they cut my tongue for that?”

Speaking at a State-wide protest organised by the ruling AIADMK against the DMK on Tuesday, Agriculture Minister R Doraikkannu said in Thanjavur that DMK is the founder of corruption and it has a role in all major scams.

“I will cut anyone’s tongue if they talk ill about the AIADMK,” he said. A few days ago, contending that there was no rationale in demanding a probe into Rs 58,000 crore Rafale jet fighter deal,Pon Radhakrishnan said the opposition Congress and the DMK were merely attempting to gain political mileage.

Flaying the Opposition parties for seeking a probe, he said Union finance minister Arun Jaitley had already made it clear that there were no irregularities in the deal.

He tweeted: “It’s a clear rebuttal given by my Senior Colleague Cabinet Minister Sh @arunjaitley ji to opposition parties, especially Mr @RahulGandhi who accusing Central Govt and our beloved Hon’ble PM Sh @narendramodi Ji on #RafaelDeal.”
