PM Modi highlights development agenda while targeting Congress
Prime Minister Narendra Modi combined a development-focused visit to Gujarat with criticism of the Congress party, arguing that voters have consistently rejected what he described as politics centred on uncertainty and negativity.
During his visit, Modi reviewed industrial, defence and renewable energy projects and participated in multiple public events where he inaugurated and launched infrastructure initiatives worth thousands of crores across Gujarat and the Union Territory of Daman and Diu.
Addressing public gatherings, the Prime Minister credited the BJP’s electoral success to public confidence in the party’s governance model. He pointed to recent election outcomes as evidence that voters favour stability and development-oriented politics.
Modi also criticised the Congress, alleging that the opposition had spent years attempting to regain political relevance through disruptive tactics rather than constructive policymaking. He argued that repeated electoral defeats reflected growing public dissatisfaction with the party’s approach.
The Prime Minister further linked the government’s development agenda to broader goals such as self-reliance, infrastructure expansion and economic growth.
