Please stay out of politics, Chiranjeevi tells Rajini & Kamal

Chiranjeevi, who is promoting his magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has advised Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to stay away from politics.

When he was asked about Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s political entry during an interview to Ananda Vikatan, Chiranjeevi gave an interesting answer which could be a reality check for the two stars who are newcomers in politics.

Chiranjeevi advised Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth not to enter politics and said it’s not worth it. He also stressed on the fact that politics is about money. Also, he added that even if the people are genuine and want to accomplish a good deed, they would not be able to.

“I request Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth to stay out of politics. Now money dominates everything in politics. I quit the film industry when I was on top of my game. Though we only enter into politics to do good for the people, the money will defeat us. They defeated me in my own constituency with the money power and the same happened to my brother Pawan Kalyan,” he said.

The Tollywood megastar added: “Politics will not suit sensitive people like me. I hope Kamal and Rajini are not as sensitive as me. They should face a lot of things including insult and betrayal in politics. But my best wishes will always be there for them.”

Chiranjeevi also recalled the good olden days in Chennai where he spent time with Rajini, Kamal, Sivaji Ganesan, Mammootty, and Mohanlal. “I clapped the first shot of Ajith’s Prema Pushtakam and Vijay’s film along with Rajinikanth. Had an intuition that both will become big stars in the future,” said Chiranjeevi.

“If you can handle defeats and setbacks and want to do good for the people, then you can enter politics. Maybe things will change one day for you,” he added.
