Peter Paul’s son denies Vanitha’s remarks

Vanitha Vijayakumar’s third marriage with Peter Paul is the latest hot topic in the industry, after his first wife Elizabeth filed a police complaint stating that they were not divorced.

Meanwhile, in a video interview with a web channel, Peter Paul’s college-going son has refuted Vanitha’s claims that Peter is a teetotaller. He added that the family, his mother, sister and he moved in with his maternal grandmother, some four-five years ago, after his father has been admitted in a rehabilitation centre.

He said that his father tried to escape from the centre by climbing a wall, and added that Peter suffered injuries in the attempt. The youngster also said that his mother Elizabeth Helen stopped talking to his dad after he told her that he was having an affair with a woman and she was pregnant with his baby.

He said that his younger sister was hardly two years, then, when this incident took place and he vividly remembers how his dad, fully drunk, came home and asked him whether he can replace his mother with a new aunty. He said that he repeated the same to his mother too.

Stating that his dad’s affairs are nothing new to him, he added that Peter used to have flings with people wherever he worked. He said that he used to get home drunk whenever he was hiding something.

On the claim that he had gone to Vanitha’s house, he said that he had gone there along with his dad one evening and had dinner at her place. He said that he has been considering Vanitha’s younger daughter as his sister and used to exchange messages, and recently memes.

The boy said that when he confronted his dad about his impending wedding with Vanitha, Peter said that the invitation was printed by someone to humiliate him and it was fake.

Soon after the first wife of Vanitha Vijayakumar’s third husband Peter Paul lodged a police complaint, actor-filmmaker Lakshmy Ramakrishnan hit out at Vanitha for her ‘blunder’.

“How can someone with education and exposure make such a blunder?!! Why did the first wife wait till the #VanithaPeterpaulWedding got over, why didn’t she stop it?” she posted.

Reacting to it, Vanitha asked Lakshmy to ‘mind ur own business’. Soon after this episode, actress Kasthuri wrote: “definition of hypocrisy: Putting out your entire life on social media, peddling your family and kids on youtube and then asking for privacy when things backfire. One’s personal life is nobody’s business only as long as it is legal & does not affect others.”

And, when a follower wanted Kasthuri to explain her tweet, she said, “Nothing of national importance. A toxic person took to twitter yesterday to shame those who dared question her possibly disturbing choices.”
