Pawan apologises to Vijay for his comments at Asuran event, Master second look goes viral

At the 100th day celebration of Dhanush’s Asuran in Chennai a few days ago, actor Pawan who, played an important role in the film made a controversial statement on Vijay’s film Kuruvi.

“Earlier, I attended the 150th-day function of Kuruvi, but I’m not sure whether it’s genuine or not but Asuran’s success is real “, he said, triggering a huge backlash from Vijay fans.

Though Dhanush tried to play things down by saying “In success functions like these,  we can be responsible only for our speeches and can’t scrutinize the speeches of others. I request everyone to only take good things from this event”, Vijay fans were not ready to leave the issue.

A video of his speech went viral on the internet and fans of Vijay started slamming Pawan on social media. Following this, in an interview, the actor has apologised to Thalapathy Vijay and the whole team of Kuruvi for his controversial statement. Pawan played a villain Vijay’s Kuruvi, which released in 2008.

Currently, Vijay is focusing on the upcoming film Master. The film is helmed by director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The director is known for his last release titled Kaithi. The second look of Master was released on Pongal day and it became an instant hit.

In the second look poster, only Vijay’s face is visible in a sea of black. Surrounded by young boys who have their backs to us, actor Vijay, also dressed in black and wearing shades, looks at the camera, placing a finger on his lips as if instructing the boys to remain silent. The visual is indicative of a rebellion or a rising.

On New Year’s Eve, the makers of Master released the first look poster. On Wednesday, on the auspicious occasion of Pongal, the team has released the second look poster amid much expectation and fanfare.
