Today (July 23) is Suriya’s birthday and the actor is being showered by wishes from various quarters, including celebrities, friends and fans.
To mark the day, maker of his upcoming film NGK have released the second look poster of the movie. Also, it has been revealed that NGK means Nandha Gopalan Kumaran.
The poster shows people’s celebration with scores of policemen in the background. However, it isn’t clear whether Suriya plays a revolutionary leader of sorts.
Notably, the first look poster showed Suriya in a Che Guevara-styled makeover. Directed bySelvaraghavan, ‘NGK’ has huge expectations among fans.
Meanwhile, Suriya has chosen 400 schools in TN in which he will be building 10 restrooms each where such facilities have been found wanting.
It does not stop with just constructing toilets — fans from the welfare association Agaram Foundation would also take care of their maintenance throughout the year.
The period from 2002-2005 was revelatory for Suriya and also for the Tamil audience as we had found an actor who seemed he could do anything. Kicking off with Mounam Pesiyadhe, Suriya’s choices and performances were exemplary as he set new standards for himself.
Suriya is the eldest son of Tamil film actor Sivakumar and his younger brother Karthi is also an actor. Suriya married co-star Jyothika in 2006, after having been together for several years. In 2008, he began Agaram Foundation, which funds for various philanthropic activities.
