Vijay’s house in Chennai was in the news last month when the Income Tax Department conducted raids and also questioned him for over thirty hours.
And now, the latest update is the Health Department officers had information that Vijay had gone abroad and returned recently and wanted to check due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The officers, when they visited the actor’s house, were informed that no one from his residence went abroad in the last six months and they apparenly left without pasting any mandatory notice regarding a COVID 19 warning. However disinfectant was sprayed as a precaution throughout the premises.
After the pandemic of Coronavirus hit India, Health officials have been checking the houses of those who recently visited foreign countries. Vijay’s name seems to have been on the list of those who have traveled abroad in the past few months.
Following this, the Health department officials had been to Vijay’s house in Neelankarai, Chennai and inquired whether anyone in the house was infected with the virus.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s upcoming film Master, which was supposed to hit the screens on April 9, has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
However, it looks like the team cannot stay away from each other and is finding ways to keep in touch during the 21-day lockdown period. On March 26, Actress Malavika Mohanan posted a picture with actor Vijay, composer Anirudh Ravichander and Master co-producer Jagadish on a group video call.
