NTA releases NEET-UG 2026 re-exam city intimation slips ahead of June 21 test

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the exam city intimation slips for candidates scheduled to appear in the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination later this month, enabling students to learn the city where their test centre will be located.

Candidates can access the city allotment details through the official NEET website by logging in with their application credentials. The document is intended to help students make travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance of the examination. Authorities clarified that the city intimation slip is not the admit card and does not contain details of the exact examination centre.

The re-examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 21 following the cancellation of the earlier NEET-UG 2026 test. The examination will be held in pen-and-paper mode and will take place at centres across India and select overseas locations.

Officials said admit cards for the re-test will be released separately before the examination date. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official portal for updates and download all required documents as soon as they become available.

Meanwhile, authorities have announced enhanced security measures for the re-examination. As part of efforts to strengthen the integrity of the process, the Indian Air Force has been tasked with transporting question papers for the examination. Additional monitoring and coordination measures are also being put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the test.

Students can download the city intimation slip by visiting the official NEET portal, entering their application details and accessing the exam city information through their candidate dashboard. The NTA has urged candidates to verify all details carefully and stay alert to official notifications regarding the upcoming examination.
