Nazriya Nazim in Ajith’s Valimai?

A lot is cooking over Ajith’s upcoming film Valimai. The latest according to the rumour mill is that Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim, who is also popular in Kollywood, might be a part of the film.

Nazriya Nazim has posted on Twitter a photograph of herself in a new hairstyle and captained it “Something New on this day #Valimai…”.  This has sparked rumors on the internet that Nazriya has joined the star cast of the film.

A few new pictures of the actor have gone viral on social media. Nazriya is seen in a new makeover in the pictures, and it is said that her new look is for Ajith’s Valimai. Nazriya was last seen in Malayalam film Koode (2018). In Tamil, her last film was Thirumanam Ennum Nikka (2014).

She married Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil and took a break from the industry for a few years. Directed by H Vinoth, who recently directed Ajith in Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of Hindi film Pink, the upcoming Tamil film’s pooja commenced on October 18.

Nazriya Nazim was last seen in Malayalam film Koode (2018). Her Tamil titles include Raja Rani, Neram, Naiyaandi, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Thirumanam Enum Nikkah. She started her career as an anchor on Malayalam television channel Asianet before pursuing a career as an actress. She made her debut as a child artist with Palunku (2006) and then as a lead actress in the 2013 Malayalam film Maad Dad.

 She has gone on to star in successful films such as Raja Rani (2013), Ohm Shanthi Oshaana (2014) and Naiyaandi and Bangalore Days (2014). Following her marriage to actor Fahadh Faasil, she took a break from acting. She made a comeback in 2018 with Anjali Menon’s movie Koode.

Nazriya Nazim was born to Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena. She has a brother, Naveen Nazim. Her family lived in Al Ain, UAE, before moving to Thiruvananthapuram. She started her career in television as an anchor in a quiz show named Punyamaasathiloode.
