Nayanthara seeks divine blessings

Nayanthara along with her rumoured fiance Vignesh Shivan visited the holy Bhagavathi Amman Temple in Kanyakumari and Lord Muruga temple in Tiruchendur.

Sources say that both of them offered prayers for nearly thirty minutes inside the Amman temple. Then they also visited the Tiruchendur temple. It is to be noted that Nayanthara will be seen playing ‘Amman’ in Mookuthi Amman directed by RJ Balaji.

She will be a vegetarian throughout the shoot. Produced by Ishari Ganesh’s Vels Films International, RJ Balaji, and NJ Saravanan are jointly directing the film.

Several pictures of the couple visiting the temples and seeking blessings have gone viral on the internet. Several fan pages show Nayanthara and Vignesh wearing a green religious shroud with tikka on their forehead as they posed with priests at the temple.

There are rumors that the duo is all set to tie the knot soon. Nayanthara fell in love with Vignesh while shooting for her film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which was directed by her beau Vignesh Sivan. The couple began dating after the movie release, and was eventually spotted together in many public events.

Nayanthara has recently lauded the Telangana Police, calling them ‘real heroes’ after they ‘encountered’ the four accused in the Hyderabad veterinary doctor’s rape and murder.

In a statement titled ‘Justice Served’, the actress said, “What has been a cinematic phrase so far has become the reality today. The real heroes – Telangana Police – have proved it with their action. I would call this ‘A RIGHT ACT OF HUMANITY’.

Every woman of this country can mark this date in the calendar as a day of true justice, it’s all about respecting, showing love and compassion towards all with equality.”

She added: “More than rejoicing over the justice served, it is a moment to enlighten and educate the children, especially boys, at our homes, imparting them the message that men become the hero when they make this planet a safe place for women.”
