Navayuga Kannagi Movie Review

Swathi and Nanda are deeply in love, both pursuing medical studies. Despite their shared passion for medicine, they harbor thoughts of expressing their love within the confines of their home. However, a dilemma arises as they both belong to different social circles.

Swathi, breaking societal norms, confesses her love to her father, who then spots Nanda. Intrigued, he observes Nanda closely. Meanwhile, Nanda plans to marry Swathi but not before causing a stir by marrying someone else. In a few months, Swathi finds herself pregnant, but her husband is not the father.

The story takes a twist when Swathi decides to reveal the truth to her husband, explaining that her actions were driven by her love for Nanda. This revelation transforms their lives and sets the stage for a complex narrative.

Nanda, on the other hand, deals with his own challenges. His love for Swathi prompts him to arrange a marriage for her with someone else, leading to an intricate web of relationships. The plot thickens when Swathi becomes pregnant with Nanda’s child, raising questions about the unconventional choices they’ve made.

The storyteller, Kiran, skillfully weaves a tale of true wealth—emotion and perception. Through the intricate narrative, he explores the complexities of love, relationships, and societal expectations. The characters grapple with their decisions, challenging established norms and redefining the conventional path of life.

Kiran’s storytelling transcends the ordinary, offering a nuanced perspective on love and its transformative power. As the characters navigate through their choices, the audience is taken on a thought-provoking journey that questions societal norms and celebrates the resilience of love in the face of adversity
