Even before Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha starrer romantic musical entertainer 96 could hit the screens, its Telugu remake version has been finalised.
It has emerged that Nani and Samantha would replace Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha, respectively, in the Telugu version of 96.
According to sources, leading Telugu producer Dil Raju had recently arranged a special screening of 96 to Samantha and Nani who were impressed with the film.
Especially Nani is said to be deeply moved by the poignant love tale and agreed to shoot for the Telugu remake from December.
Going by what we have heard, Nani was so affected by the movie that he has decided to alter his dates and begin work on this project at the earliest.
Samantha, who was holidaying in Europe with her husband and Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya, posted a picture of her in beach dress, which did not go down well with a section of fans.
Many, especially those who are loyal to the legendary Akkineni family of Telugu cinema (Naga Chaitanya is the grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao), started posting comments hitting out at her.
Following this, Samantha posted a middle finger pic and captioned it saying “For all those of you who thought you had a say in how I should live my life after marriage”.
