Hansika, who is popular in multiple film industries, has said wherever she goes, her heart is always in Tamil cinem and Tamil Nadu.
She sarted off her career as a child artist and eventually became one of the most sought after actresses in Tamil and Telugu film industries.
The Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and Gulebagavali actress is all set to start shooting for her 50th film Maha.
Speaking to the media in Chennai, she said, “When my director told me that it’s my fiftieth film, I cross-checked my Wikipedia because I myself couldn’t believe completing 50 films in such a short span.”
She added: “Though I made my debut at a very young age, fans and friends here in media only gave me so much of positivity that I didn’t really lose anything in life.”
On the new trend of women-centric films in Kollywood, she said, “I think the trend is very positive because you don’t really have to be a part of the big film to score box office success.”
“In fact, I play the lead role in my 50th film Maha. I’m equally excited and scared because everything in the film is on my shoulders,” she stated.
