Murugadoss’ important update on Rajinikanth’s Darbar

Even as stills from the sets of Darbar made their way to the social media and created a sensation, director of the superstar Rajinikanth’s flick, A R Murugadoss, has come out with an update today.

In his Twitter page, Murugadoss posted that an update on Darbar will be out on 6 pm today. This has created enough sensation among Rajini fans who are eagerly waiting for the update.

The Superstar will be seen as a cop in Darbar, which is being produced by Lyca on a lavish budget. Photos from the film’s shooting spot have been leaked by some miscreants.

Going by the pictures, it is clear that Rajinikanth essays the role of a police officer in Mumbai. Also, sources close to the film’s unit revealed that major portions of Darbar are set in Mumbai. Word has it that the film will have a social message, much like AR Murugadoss’ other flicks.

A picture of superstar Rajinikanth, strutting towards his car in a khaki uniform surfaced on social media. With an i-watch on his left wrist, rolled up sleeves and his right hand doing the signature salute, Rajinikanth looks 30 years younger than what he actually is.

The team is currently filming the final schedule in Mumbai. AR Murugadoss, who has teamed up with Rajinikanth for the first time, said that the ongoing schedule will be completed by end of August.

Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan is cranking the camera for the film and Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music. Darbar is scheduled to release on Pongal 2020.
