‘Michael’ – Aarav from Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vidaamuyarchi’

Director Magizh Thirumeni introduces the Terrific ‘Michael’ – Aarav from Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vidaamuyarchi’

The producers of Ajith Kumar starrer “Vidaamuyarchi” today (August 9) have unveiled the character look of actor Aarav. His scintillating and stylish looks have created strong waves of inquisitiveness among the fans on what could be his role. A notable aspect of Ajith Kumar movies is the the substantial screen time and prominence, afforded to his co-stars, particularly the antagonists. While Ajith Kumar plays a dotting husband in this film, created by Magizh Thirumeni, and produced by Lyca productions Subaskaran, the other characters are getting its due spotlight as the team consistently keeps revealing their appealing look.

So what’s Aarav doing in this film? Is he a good or bad guy?

Ask Magizh Thirumeni, and he spontaneously cites, “Meet Michael! The man of Twists in the Tale. Of course, he also plays an antagonist, and his character is going to be a vital one in stealing the attention. When I had finished developing the characterisation of ‘Michael’, lots of big names in the Indian industry kept popping up, but my pen gradually leaned towards the name ‘Aarav’. This choice was not influenced by personal connections, but rather by his sheer commitment and pursuit of excellence, which I witnessed during our collaboration on Kalaga Thalaivan. When I proposed Aarav’s name to Ajith sir, I was unaware of his policy to refrain from interfering in the director’s choices. To my surprise, he remarked that the decision ultimately lies with the director, depending on their confidence and comfort level. Notably, after a few shooting schedules, Ajith sir expressed his satisfaction with Aarav’s dedication and performance in this film.”

Vidaamuyarchi, a high octane entertainer is majorly shot across the exotic locales of Azerbaijan and the final schedule is briskly proceeding at Hyderabad now.

Trisha is playing the female lead role, and Action King Arjun is performing the antagonist’s character. The others in the star-cast include Aarav, Regina Cassandra, Nikhil, Ravi Raghavendra, Sanjay, Dasrathi, Ramya, Kasım, Javanshir, Rashad Safaraliyev, Vidadi Hasanov, Tural and others performing pivotal roles.

Sun TV has acquired the satellite rights and Netflix has clasped post-theatrical OTT rights of Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vidaamuyarchi’.
