Former Australian cricketer Mathew Hayden, who was in Madurai to promote the inaugural edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), watched Rajinikanth starrer Kabali in Chennai today.
Hayden watched the superstar’s movie directed by Pa Ranjith at Albert theatre at Egmore in Chennai.
Hayden was in Madurai to promote the inaugural edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) here on Tuesday.
“The tournament will give young players a chance to showcase their skills apart from rubbing shoulders with experienced players,” Hayden said.
He started his visit by offering prayers at the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. He was given a special reception at the temple and was adorned with garlands.
After stepping out of the temple, he put forth that he was happy to visit Madurai and to witness the vibe of the city through his eyes. He exclaimed that he felt privileged to have received such a warm welcome and added that he would continue to visit Madurai frequently.
