Manju Warrier opts out of Kaapa for AK61
Manju Warrier, who is in the prime of her career, was roped in to play an important role in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming film, Kaapa.
The actress has now walked out of the film due to date clashes. Since Manju is busy with the shooting of Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film, AK 61, she couldn’t allot dates for Kaapa.
Aparna Balamurali, who won the National Award for her performance in Soorarai Pottru, has been roped in as the replacement.
Tentatively titled AK 61, the film marks the third collaboration between Ajith, director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor.
Huge sets have been erected in Hyderabad for the shooting of AK 61. According to reports, AK 61’s shooting will be wrapped up in a couple of months. If everything goes as per plan, AK 61 will release in theatres in 2023.
