Producer Arunmozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Productions is elated over his 2020 release ‘Psycho’ directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin starring Udhayanidhi Stalin in lead getting nominated under 9 categories for the 9th edition of South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA 2021). The producer, who turns screenwriter with his upcoming production ‘Maayon’ starring Sibiraj in lead character extends his wholehearted thanksgiving to the entire cast and crew of “Psycho”, media and press professionals, audiences, and the selection committee members of SIIMA 2021 for making this happen. In particular, he thanks Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja stating that his songs became the main reason for movie success. Producer Arunmozhi Manickam feels excited for collaborating with the legend for his upcoming production ‘Maayon’ as well, where he assures that Isaignani music will be a huge embellishment to the movie.
The movie has been nominated for 9 categories that include Best Direction (Mysskin), Best Actor in a Leading Role Male (Udhayanidhi Stalin), Best Music (Ilaiyaraaja), Best Lyrics – Unna Ninachu (Kabilan), Best Playback Singer Male – Unna Ninachu (Sid Sriram), Best Debutant Producer (Double Meaning Productions), Best Cinematography (Tanveer Mir). Rajkumar Pitchumani has been nominated under two categories – Best Villain and Best Debutant Actor.
The 9th Edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA 2020) will be held on September 18 & 19 in Hyderabad.
