Mammootty to bankroll Suriya’s next?
Kollywood has been abuzz with speculation that hero Suriya will be joining forces with award-winning Malayalam actor-director Basil Joseph for his 47th project.
Basil not refuting the rumors during a recent interview added strength to the ongoing speculations.
And here’s yet another exciting buzz on Suriya47. Apparently, actor Mammootty will produce the Suriya-Basil Joseph project under his Mammootty Kampany production house.
Furthermore, the film is touted as a superhero flick. However, an official announcement is awaited.
Suriya will next be seen in the highly anticipated romantic action drama, Retro.
The film marks Suriya’s 44th project, and it is directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. Also starring Pooja Hegde in a lead role, Retro is slated for release on May 1, 2025.
Suriya is currently working on his 45th project and also has Vetrimaaran’s Vaadivaasal.
