Makers of Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life drop update

Mani Ratnam and actor Kamal Haasan will team up for a gangster drama Thug Life, 36 years after their successful outing with Nayakan.

As Kamal Haasan celebrates his 70th birthday on November 7, the makers of Thug Life announced that the film’s glimpse will be out on that date at 11 AM.

The announcement poster was captioned, “Watch Out For The Thugs.”

The film also stars Silambarasan, Trisha, Nassar, Joju George, Ali Fazal, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Abhirami, all of whom have been cast in crucial roles.

The technical crew of Thug Life features cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, music director AR Rahman, editor Sreekar Prasad and action directors Anbariv.

The film is a co-production between Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies, Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Film International, and Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies. Details regarding the plot and a release date for Thug Life are kept under wraps.

Kamal Haasan, who was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD and Indian 2, also has Indian 3 in the pipeline.
