Tollywood top star Mahesh Babu, on the occasion of his 45th birthday, took part in the Green India Challenge on Sunday and planted a tree sapling at his home in Hyderabad.
The Green India Challenge requires participants to plant saplings at their house or at a public place to make India a better country. It also encourages the participants to nominate three other people in a bid to continue the chain.
Sharing that he has taken part in the challenge, Mahesh Babu wrote, “There couldn’t be a better way to celebrate my birthday #GreenIndiaChallenge I pass this on to @tarak9999, @actorvijay & @shrutihaasan.
Let the chain continue and transcend boundaries request all of you to support the cause. One step towards a greener world!.” He further nominated Jr NTR, Thalapathy Vijay and Shruti Haasan to take part in the challenge.
After Prabhas, Samantha and Rashmika Mandanna, Mahesh Babu has taken a part in this initiative and it couldn’t have been better than his birthday to spread awareness about it.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be seen next in Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame. The motion poster of the film was released on Sunday and it has set high expectations among the moviegoers. The highlight of the motion poster is the BGM by Thaman and a rupee coin being tossed by Mahesh Babu.
Mahesh Babu also requested his fans to avoid social gathering on his birthday. He also said that we are in the middle of a pandemic and urged everyone to stay safe.
