Madras Mylapore Ladies Circle 4 (MMLC) distributed provision kits to Leprosy Patients

Madras Mylapore Ladies Circle 4 (MMLC) and Madras Mylapore Round Table 3 (MMRT) in association with Born to Win Research Foundation Trust facilitated the doctors and distributed provision kits to patients of Gremaltes Hospital for Leprosy and Handicap. Provision kit consisted of food essentials like flour, rice, dhal, salt, sugar, oil, tea etc and it will benefit 300 beneficiaries.

Expressing their gratitude, Dr. Mariyanathan, Director, Gremaltes Hospital, Dr Renuka Ramakrishnan, Senior consultant Skin & Leprologist and a Social reformer, said, “We are thankful and overwhelmed by this thoughtful gesture of organizations Round Table India and Ladies Circle India, who have come forwarded to help and support our patients affected by leprosy and disability.

Chairman MMRT 3 Rahul Chabbria, Chairperson MMLC4 Shilpa Katrela Chairperson, MMLC4, said, “We are grateful to the Gremaltes Hospital for giving us the opportunity to serve provision kits to leprosy patients and their families.  We hope these contributions help ease the suffering of the people. An initiative by MMLC4 and MMRT3 with a vision to feed the needy by providing rations to leprosy patients and their families. We strive to do more such drives in the future.” 

Event was also followed by Mrs Anamika Singh Adaa, the founder of ADA and "i to I" wellness journey conducting meditation for the patients of Gremaltes Hospital and Mrs Neerja Malik, Inspirational Speaker, Author, I Inspire giving an motivational speech.
