Madhampatty Rangaraj announces responsibility for son’s upbringing, Joy Crizilda welcomes
Actor and chef Madhampatty Rangaraj has issued a public statement affirming his commitment to the upbringing and future of his son, Ragha Rangaraj.
Posting on social media, Rangaraj said he had been caring for his son with love and responsibility over the past six months and stated that he would continue to support the child’s welfare, happiness and future. He shared a photograph with Ragha, which was later reposted by fashion designer Joy Crizilda, the child’s mother, with a message celebrating the father-son bond.
The announcement comes after legal proceedings between Rangaraj and Joy Crizilda, who had earlier levelled several allegations against him. During the course of the dispute, the Madras High Court permitted DNA testing to determine paternity. Joy subsequently stated that the results confirmed Rangaraj as the biological father.
Apart from his catering business, Rangaraj has appeared in films including Mehandi Circus and Penguin and has also served as a judge on the television reality show Cooku with Comali.
