Vishnu Vishal’s period political drama, Maaveeran Kittu, directed by Suseenthiran, is all set to release on December 1.
The makers have officially announced the release plan on Twitter and they are also done with the final cut that the censor process will happen very soon.
This will be Vishnu Vishal’s first December release. The trailer and songs of Maaveeran Kittu have garnered some good response and we hope the film lives up to the expectations.
Suseenthiran says, “The story is based on few real-life incidents that I came across. We opted for the title since it revolves around the lead character Kittu played by Vishnu Vishal.”
The film features Vishnu Vishal, Parthiban, Soori, Sri Divya and Harish Uthaman in key roles. Music is by D Imman.
Giving more details, the director adds: “It is a movie that unfolds in the middle of the 1980s in a small village called Puthur. Vishal plays a student from a poor family. Parthiban plays a printing press owner who strives to do his bit for society. He sponsors the education of many in the village including Vishnu Vishal. One incident sparks a change in their lives and leads to a struggle. A social issue that impacts the common man has been dealt with in detail.”
