Lubber Pandhu to stream on this platform after theatrical run

Lubber Pandhu is a family drama with cricket playing an important role. Actors Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh play the male leads.

Lubber Pandhu is directed by filmmaker Tamizharasan Pachamuthu in his directorial debut.

It also features actors Swaswika and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy as the female leads.

While the film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 20, the post-theatrical digital streaming rights have been bagged by Disney+ Hotstar.

The film will be made available on the platform after Lubber Pandhu finishes its theatrical run.

The technical crew of Lubber Pandhu consists of music composer Sean Roldan, cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman and G Madan as the editor.

Lubber Pandhu is set in Trichy of Tamil Nadu and revolves around street cricket, which is common in India.

The film will have some references to the late actor and politician Vijayakanth, given that Tamizharasan Pachamuthui is a fan of him. Attakathi Dinesh will be playing a fan of the late actor.

September 20 will see multiple Tamil releases. Apart from Lubber Pandhu, Hiphop Tamizha’s Kadaisi Ulaga Por, a dystopian war drama; Sathish’s Sattam En Kayil, and Sasikumar’s Nandhan are also releasing in theatres on the same day.
