Lokesh Kangaraj reveals the date of Coolie trailer
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has officially announced that the trailer for Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Coolie will be released on August 2, 2025.
This revelation comes just weeks before the film’s scheduled theatrical debut on August 14.
In a recent interview, Lokesh emphasized a minimal marketing approach for Coolie, stating, “I want to deliver one trailer and then the film. More than that, anything will be a giveaway. All I wanted to deliver was one trailer, and the date is August 2.”
He also described ‘Coolie’ as a full-fledged commercial entertainer, designed purely for audience enjoyment, suggesting a shift from his usual darker, grittier tone.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film boasts a stellar cast including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Pooja Hegde, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj, with a special cameo by Aamir Khan. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film.
