It was announced during the lockdown that Silambarasan will be playing the lead role in Corona Kumar directed by Gokul.

However, it is now said that the actor has opted out of the film which will be bankrolled by Vels Film International.

Sources said that Pradeep Ranganathan might be replacing Silambarasan .

However, these reportes are also said to be rumours.  It is said that the makers are still on the hunt for the new lead.

An official announcement is expected to be made soon.
