Vijay Sethupathi, who will be seen next on the big screen in Laabam, took to Twitter on Friday, September 3, to unveil the film’s trailer.
Starring Jagapathi Babu and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, the social-political thriller conveys a powerful message.
In the trailer, we can see Vijay Sethupathi standing up for people’s rights against Jagapathi Babu.
Laabam is directed by SP Jhananathan, who died after suffering a cardiac arrest on 14 March .
Though there were speculations that the film would have an OTT release, Vijay Sethupathi clarified that Laabam will only release in theatres. The movie will be released on 9 September.
