Krithi Shetty plays Revathi in Custody
Naga Chaitanya, who had a busy 2022 with shoots of multiple projects, three major releases and a Hindi film debut, will hope to start this year with a bang with his next release, Custody, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu.
The bilingual, simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil, marks his debut in the Tamil industry.
Krithi Shetty plays the female lead in the film, labelled a summer treat, slated to release on May 12 this year.
After releasing the first look of Naga Chaitanya and the glimpse, the makers of Custody unveiled the first look of Krithi Shetty as Revathi.
Going by the look, Revathi is a woman who’s behind bars and is dressed in a girl-next-door avatar.
The look that’s styled more like a painting warrants your interest too. This is Krithi Shetty’s second Tamil film after The Warriorr, another Telugu-Tamil bilingual.
Custody is bankrolled by Srinvasaa Chitturi under Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Father-son composer duo Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are coming up with the music score.
