Kollywood mourns Jayalalithaa’s death

Film shoots were cancelled today, there were no film screenings today and many cinema personalities have mourned the death of Jayalalithaa.

Superstar Rajinikanth posted on Twitter: “It is not just Tamil Nadu, but the whole of India that has lost its brave daughter. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace”.

In a statement from Bulgaria where he is shooting for his upcoming flick, Ajith said,  “She had fought many battles and stood tall among the leaders of our times. I pray to the Almighty to give us the strength during this time of grief.”
