Kolai movie review
Story:
Famous model Meenakshi Chaudhary is murdered in her apartment.
Police officer Ritika Singh is assisted by former police officer and detective Vijay Antony who investigates the murder case.
Who is the killer? and why did he kill her? Were Ritika and Vijay Antony able to solve the murder mystery. What were the hurdles that they faced during the investigation forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director Balaji Kumar has delivered a neat crime investigation thriller.
Even though the plot is a normal one , the way Balaji Kumar has presented it is impressive.
The way Vijay Antony has carried the character of an investigator is impressive.
He has delivered a subtle acting without straining much.
Ritika has given a stylish performance and just like Vijay Antony, she too has not strained much for her character.
Meenakshi Chaudhary as model Laila adds fits the role perfectly.
She grabs attention with her acting as well. Rest of the cast including Siddharth Shankar, Murali Sharma, Arjun Chidambaram and Radhikaa have also performed well.
Sivakumar Vijayan’s camerawork takes the proceedings to another level.
Girishh Gopalakrishnan’s songs and bgm give a completely different feel.
