KGF2 movie review

Story:

The movie picks up from where it ended in the first part.

Rocky has now ascended the throne of KGF. However, the battle is not over as many others have their eyes on the throne. One of them is Adheera.

While Rocky wages a war with Adheera, bigger problems arise in the form of the Prime Minister.

Was Rocky able to handle all the problems, did he emerge victorious, how is Reena involved in all this forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Yash has once again given life to the character which has become iconic now. The swag, confidence and laid-back attitude from KGF-1 are all part of the second edition as well.

There was a mix of emotion and action in the first part, but the second part is packed with action and heroism. As usual Yash nails the role.

Director Prashanth Neel throws bigger challenges in the way of Rocky to elevate him more. However, there is no emotional connection to the characters which was seen in the first part. While the first half is the clash between Rocky and Adheera,

The introduction of the political clash makes it interesting in the second half. Shrinidhi Shetty gets a better character arc and has delivered it with ease.

Sanjay Dutt has put in a huge effort for his character and has pulled it off well.

Raveena Tandon has done her part well. Music by Ravi Basrur is the lifeline of KGF and the BGM works wonders.

Cinematogrpahy by Bhuwan Gowda is extraordinary and the visuals are grand which is one of the USP of the franchise.

Rating: 3.8/5
