The first schedule of Ajith’s Valimai was wrapped up at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad a few weeks ago. The second schedule of the film is now underway in Chennai.
The team has been planning to shoot some portions in North India after completing the current schedule. And now, according to the latest report from an online portal, some parts of Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ will also be shot in Switzerland in April.
Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi made a grand debut in Kollywood with superstar Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala, which hit the screens in 2018 and was directed by Pa Ranjith. Though the film became a roaring success, Huma was not seen in any Tamil films after that. Now, it looks like she has signed a big-budget flick in Kollywood.
If rumours are to be believed, the actress has apparently been approached to play the female lead in Ajith’s upcoming flick, Valimai. Reportedly, Huma loved her character and agreed to hop on board. However, there is no official confirmation from the team of Valimai yet.
Directed by H Vinoth, who had teamed up with Ajith for courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai, the two are reuniting once again for this project which is also being bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
Pavel Navageethan, known for his roles in films such as Madras, Peranbu, Vada Chennai, and Magalir Mattum, will be playing the main villain in it.
The film will hit the marquee for Deepavali next year and will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Nirav Shah, and art direction by Thotta Tharani. The genre of the film is still unknown, however, reports have emerged that Ajith will be seen playing a cop after a long time.
