Keerthy Suresh goes to Bollywood, welcomed by Janhvi Kapoor

Keerthy Suresh has entered Bollywood. She will play the female lead in a biopic on Indian football player and coach, Syed Abdul Rahim.

The yet untitled movie will have Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Directed by Amit Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame, the movie will be produced by Boney Kapoor, husband of Sridevi.

Welcoming Keerthy to Bollywood, Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Boney, said, “Keerthy Suresh, been obsessed with you since I swa Mahanati. So excited that you’re a part of dad’s next film! Welcome!!.”

The biopic will also chronicle our national football team’s glory from 1950 to 1963. While Ajay will essay Syed’s role, Keerthy will play his wife in the film.

t was recently said that Keerthy Suresh would be one of the two heroines in the upcoming film of superstar Rajinikanth, which is to be directed by A R Murugadoss.

However now, it has emerged that the Nadigayar Thilakam and Sandakozhi-2 actress is not part of the project. However, the makers are not ruling out Nayanthara’s inclusion in the film.

AAs of now, Anirudh Ravichander who recently scored music for Rajinikanth’s Petta is on board for the film and ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be cranking the camera.

A few days ago, Aniruth confirmed that he would compose music for the upcoming film of the superstar, which is to be directed by A R Murugadoss.
