Though Keerrthi Suresh belongs to Mollywood and is a fast rising actress in Kollywood, she is popular in Tollywood too, thanks to a film titled ‘Nenu…Sailaja’.
Now the latest update on the Rajini Murugan actress is that she has been approached to play the female lead in actor Nani’s upcoming film with Trinadha Rao who had directed ‘Cinema Chupista Mama’.
“The female lead in the film is equally important as the male lead. So, the director was looking for someone who can carry off a role like that and felt Keerthy Suresh would be an apt choice,” sources said.
Meanwhile in Kollywood, she is busy with an interesting line-up of projects, including Vijay’s 60th movie, Thodari with Dhanush and Wagah starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead role.
Keerthi Suresh opposite Nani?
Keerthi was a child actress in the early 2000s and, after graduating in fashion design, she returned into lead roles. She played her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali and has signed up films in Tamil and Telugu languages as well.
Keerth was born to Malayali film producer Suresh Kumar and a Tamil actress mother Menaka. She has an elder sister, Revathy Suresh, who works as a VFX specialist and had previously worked for Shahrukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies.
Until class four, Keerthi did her schooling in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.She then studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram before coming back to Chennai to join the Pearl Academy where she completed her degree in fashion design.
