Jiiva’s romantic comedy Kavalai Vendam has been censored with UA certificate. Following this, the movie is getting ready to hit the screens on November 24.
Sources say that the film is filled with hilarious one liners targeting the youngsters and already the two teasers have received tremendous response.
The film directed by Deekay was earlier scheduled to release on October 7 but that could not happen due to unknown reasons.
Kavalai Vendam is a muti-starrer romantic comedy starring Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha, Sunaina, Karunakaran and many others. Leon James has rendered the musical score.
In January 2015, Jiiva signed on to appear in the venture directed by Deekay and produced by Elred Kumar, who had made Yaamirukka Bayamey (2014).
Keerthy Suresh and Nikki Galrani were signed to portray further leading roles, while the director revealed that Bobby Simha would make an extended guest appearance.
The film’s first look was released in June 2015, with Jiiva revealed to be playing a chef. Despite the initial photo shoot featuring the lead actors, the project became delayed and the shoot failed to take off throughout 2015.
Consequently, both lead actresses opted out due to date issues and were replaced by Kajal Aggarwal and Shruthi Ramakrishnan. Sunaina also joined the cast of the film in January 2016.
