Karunanidhi’s health stable: Kauvery Hospital

Kauvery Hospital today said the health condition of DMK president M Karunanidhi, who was admitted there on Friday, is stable.

In a statement, it however said he would stay in the hospital for few more days. Meanwhile, DMK treasurer M K Stalin said his father would return to home in two more days.

Meanwhile, a DMK release here said, Karunanidhi,who has been taking treatment for drug-induced allergy and was advised rest by the doctors, was admitted to the hospital for medical examination and continuous treatment as per the advise of the doctors.

Hence, he was admitted to Kauvery hospitals. “Since he will be hospital for a few days, party workers and functionaries are advised to avoid visiting him and extend their cooperation”, it added.

Late in October, as tatement from the DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam in the city said, “thalaivar Kalaignar (leader Karunanidhi) is taking rest, as his health was affected after one of the medicines he regularly intakes created allergy.

“Since the doctors have advised him rest for the next few days, visitors are requested to avoid meeting him and extend their cooperation”, the statement said.
