After making debut with ‘Adithya Varma’, the Tamil remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, Dhruv Vikram is set to join hands with his father Vikram in Karthik Subbaraj directorial, and the film has been tentatively titled as ‘Chiyaan 60’.
If the latest updates are to be believed, the Vikram-Dhruv Vikram starrer will be majorly shot at the various locations of Kodaikanal.
The rumour mills suggest that director Karthik Subbaraj and his team are currently busy with the final stage of pre-production. The leading men Vikram and Dhruv, on the other hand, are busy with the preparations of the movie.
During the official announcement of ‘Chiyaan 60’, Karthik Subbaraj said that he hasn’t finished the scriptwriting for the film and hasn’t finalized anycast other than Vikram and Dhruv. But now, the director is in plans to kickstart the film shooting, and he is working sincerely towards it.
In an instagram post, Dhruv wrote how much he misses life on a film set. Sharing some throwback pictures from the sets of Adithya Varma, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy; he wrote: “Woke up this morning missing our 6am call times and shooting on Sundays. Woke up missing the magic in the chaos. Waiting to get back to a set. Waiting for the retakes.”
Recently, producer S Sashikanth has clarified that upcoming Tamil film Jagame Thanthiram, starring Dhanush and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, will only release in theatres. He has urged people to not believe in any rumours.
After it was recently announced that Suriya’s upcoming Tamil biggie Soorarai Pottru will release directly on Amazon Prime on October 30, reports emerged that Dhanush’s film Jagame Thanthiram too will follow suit. Sashikanth took to Twitter to clarify that Jagame Thandhiram will only be released in cinema theatres.
