Dulquer Salmaan’s Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is running successfully at the theatres. The romantic thriller has been receiving praises from the audience due to director Desingh Periyasamy‘s novel script and narration, Dulquer‘s fresh avatar and Gautham Vasudev Menon‘s spine chilling portrayal of a cop.
The film’s team conducted a success meet in Chennai on Thursday and thanked the media, including Chennaivision.com, for backing the movie.
Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’s plot is about a happy-go-lucky web developer, Siddharth who gets into a problematic situation as he falls in love with Meera, essayed by Ritu Verma. Bankrolled jointly by Viacom 18 Studios and Anto Joseph Film Company, the movie has been simultaneously released in Telugu titled Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante.
VJ-turned-actor Rakshan, who plays Dulquer Salmaan’s friend in the film, says that the team called him for a script narration after being impressed with his compering in Kalakka Povathu Yaaru.
“In the first meeting, I saw that they were giving me the ‘ivan seri pattu varuvanaa, varamatanaa’ vibes, but I assured them that I would give my best. I was on board a week later, after they gained the confidence, and I got the bound script too,” he says.
Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal has music composed by celebrated Malayalam band, Masala Coffee. The film hit the screens last Friday and has emerged a super hit.
