Kangana Ranaut and CJP’s Saurav Das exchange sharp remarks over Gen Z comments
A public exchange erupted on Wednesday between BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das following Ranaut’s remarks describing Gen Z as “Generation gutter.”
The controversy began after Ranaut posted strongly worded messages on Instagram criticising protests led by the CJP over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
Responding to her comments, Das said the language used by the BJP MP was inappropriate and questioned why such remarks would be directed at young people. He also criticised Ranaut’s record as a parliamentarian, claiming that even members of her own party did not take her seriously. Referring to an earlier video from her constituency, he suggested she appeared surprised by the workload associated with being an MP.
Das further alleged that Ranaut was attempting to gain attention from the ongoing student movement.
Ranaut later responded through another Instagram post, dismissing Das as “totally useless and unemployed.” She also remarked that after searching his profile online, she found it surprising that the 28-year-old continued to describe himself as a student.
